Best synth albums

I'm searching for synth albums with a very particular vibe.

Whenever I've asked for synth recommendations in the past I find I get suggestions that overwhelmingly fall into either the category of synth-pop or ambient music. I like both these genres but they're just not quite scratching the synth itch for me.

I'm looking for stuff that's instrumental but busier than ambient music. Particularly stuff with real sci-fi sounding synth leads in them.

For reference some other stuff I enjoy that is like what I have in mind would be Nils Frahm, particularly tracks like Sunson or World of Squares.

I also really enjoy Caterina Barbieri, particularly her album Ecstatic Computation.
