Looking for small form tablet considering ipad mini 7, y700 2023 and 2024

Will be using for general media consumption for commute and air travel. I have a 12inch Samsung which I find quite big and mainly use it at home and office. I was a shoe-in for ipad mini 7 cellular as y700 has is wifi only. My only concern is 60hz screen for the ipad - will be noticeable at this point? For context I have an "overkill" Sony Xperia phone at 4k 120hz. Haha anyone with similar experience please share
