Why do you have multiple decks?
I have my trusty Waite Smith deck and have always been drawn to the look of more artisanal decks, but I’m having a hard time wrapping my brain around the consumerism part of owning multiple decks. Is there a reason to own more than one beyond the fact that they’re pretty?
*edited to update the deck name and to note that this seems to be a polarizing question in this sub. Thank you to the person who pointed out that it’s asked often, I appreciate that.
And genuinely meant no offense to those who seemed to interpret my question as such. I didn’t intend to come across brusque or smug, I just was curious to know whether different decks offered different features while also trying to resist consumerism in a capitalist society. Trying being the key word lol I did not mean to upset anyone and am most definitely not judging anyone who collects multiple decks for their pleasure.
Apologies!
