TCL 50P815 : Screen goes dark, but sound stays on
I have this issue since yesterday that occurred while playing a game on the PlayStation 5 that the screen just went dark, but it kept playing sound. Since I was in the middle of a game and didn't wanted to loose progress, I took the PS Portal and that confirmed also it wasn't an Issue with the console since I could save the game and turn the console off this way. I powered off the TV and tried to start it again, which it does, but once it is in the main menu of Android TV, it goes dark.
Things I've tried afterwards were taking the power cord out of the power-outlet for a while, pressed the power button on the back for a while when the cord was not in the power-outlet, swapped HDMI cables, removed all other devices (Soundbar, external HDD, ...), tried all tricks and advices the internet threw at me and it left me with giving it a hard reset a try.
So I've downloaded a couple of ATV and GTV IMG files found here to give reinstalling a shot.
During the process the screen stays on and once the bootscreen (last image) passed, everything goes dark again.
This process takes about 15 minutes in total (give or take) and I have a hard time to believe the panel is the issue since it obviously lights up during this process.
Anyone knows a clear answer to this issue?
