Tips on how to play the game?

So, I’ve had the game since 2018 and play if off and on but over the last few days I’ve really gotten into it. (Less than 4 days of playtime) I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what animals were worth the most XP and/or cash because I seem to always be low on it. (Also, is scent eliminator worth the 3K?)
