“You don’t smile enough. You’re too serious. It’s like you have a wall up.”

Said by a client after he told me today that this is his last day of IOP. After I encouraged him to consider completing/not leaving abruptly, to which he became defensive and angry. I do feel I’m a bit stoic/serious, but I do have fun. Just not when I need to meet with resistant and defiant people like him 😅.

Anyone else ever get this?
