Am I overreacting (politics)

I have been seeing so many posts on trans subreddits about losing estrogen or testosterone or being scared about the prospect of loosing their name and their proper gender marker. Am I overreacting thinking that if that is all that happens we got off relatively well? I am scared for our lives here, it has been 10 days and trans ppl are no longer allowed in the army and we are losing rights in record speeds.
