It Really Works
Had Trich since I was 12-13 yo, specifically in my eye brows. If my beard got long, I’d start on my chin occasionally. I haven’t had even halfway existent eyebrows since middle school.
I can still remember how it started. The girl I liked mentioned that my brows were bushy and I should trim them.
I started on compounded Tirzepatide (compounded Mounjaro) 2 months ago and within the first week my pulling slowed. By the end of week 2, it was nonexistent. I had one small relapse pulling 3 hairs when I went 10 days between doses instead of doing my normal biweekly dosing.
I won’t say it was just the med, the meds reduce eating, cravings (I was a Coke Zero/monster addict), as well as overall helping with my adhd. But I can definitively say that this drug made a difference and even my wife is excited I’ll have brows in family photos.
I’ve seen a few people say it did nothing for them, which is possible. It’s a newer drug and it affects everyone a little differently. Certainly worth a try if you can afford it (I’m spending $100/mo on it).
Feel free to ask any questions, I’m more than willing to help as someone who’s endured it for 21 years and learned to live beyond it, despite it still bothering me deep down.
