First time in Tulum this january, looking for some guidance

Hey all, so I'm going to Tulum in January, day zero / beach club parties are what we are going for. 2 couples mid 30s, thinking either an airbnb or an all inclusive in akumal. Resort is upfront more expensive but unsure of what to expect in downtown Tulum & the beach clubs for prices.

Doing 10 days total, probably 2-3 parties then just tour the area for the rest of the trip & am looking for some advice on a few things.

1. If we airbnb a place downtown Tulum, do we need a car ?

2. Does Tulum center have a good restaurant scene & how is it after dark ?

3. How expensive are the restaunts in the area ?

4. How expensive are the drinks at beach clubs for events ?

Just looking for some budget stuff so we all know what to expect !
