Will this cause issues?

I bought a ProJect Evo 2 used on B&H Photos, it was $315 (9 Condition) and at that price I thought why not try to see if it’ll be worth saving some money. It arrived and I noticed that the tonearm had scuffs on the outer edge while everything else looked brand new. The preamp I ordered doesn’t get here for a few days so I can’t test the audio quality, but i’m wondering if it’ll be an issue and i’ve should’ve gone with a new one instead. Also if there should be things I should check / know about when it comes to damage like this.

TLDR : I got a used Evo 2 and want to know if the damage will cause issues.
