the thing that doesn't make sense to me is how dema is grey and dull yet the livestream is bright

i mean, if dema is all closed, bland and colourless then why was the livestream so bright and all happy? wouldn't it disturb the citizens and let them think "oh, the outside must be as bright too"?

they would want to leave because they see how bright life can be, so what's the point?
