When your account was temporarily suspended (no cash outs) for possible fraud. How long before you got your earnings *and* could drive again?
[Don't get me wrong, I've seen a lot of threads pertaining to this, however, it seems that no one ever comes back to say how long it took to resolve their similar issue and/or if their similar issue was ever resolved.]
I've been driving for 5.5. years and have a rating of 4.98.
I'm now on the 7th day of my previous week's earnings being stuck in the Driver App.
I called phone support yesterday and a CSA supe said that my account is being reviewed by Uber's "Risk Investigations Team." The CSA phone supe also confirmed that my account has been frozen. My account is "temporarily locked from doing cash-outs, no vault modification, and account change privileges" as they investigate.
Previously I tried to get some answers through their Twitter support account and even the chat function of the Driver App. Ultimately, they would say it's being handled by a "specialized team" and would not answer any more questions (e.g. "How long before someone reaches out to me?, etc.) even marking my Driver App chat as "resolved." I would get the end-chat pop-up asking if there was something else they could help me with. I would choose "Yes (Same Issue)" and with no response, they would close the chat a few minutes later marking it as resolved.
Oh, and the CSA phone supe told me they would submit a written request on my behalf to the Risk Investigations Team to expedite things and would send me an email confirmation once it was sent. It's been over 16 hours and I've received no such email. She also promised me that the team would get back to me in less than 24 hours. (Just like the 1st CSA promised me I'd get my earnings before the end of business day.)
I was forced to return my Uber-Hertz rental after only a week because I couldn't afford to extend my contract. That soonest availability to book another rental was Friday, May 12th so I reserved it. I sure hope this is all rectified by then.
I wish I had an Uber Greenlight Hub to go to but they closed the one in my area due to the cutbacks of the lockdown.
I also find it inconvenient that this "Risk Investigations Team" will not correspond by phone, only email.
I know I'm not the only Uber Driver, but come on. I can send over any verification in seconds.
