Cannabis and alcohol - or lack of it!

Hi, I have been a BM user for years on and off, and I would still drink alcohol, sometimes quite a lot. When I couldn’t get BM, which was 50% of the time, I “medicated” with more alcohol, 3 bottles of wine, or a fridge pack of beer.
I was, as close as makes no difference, an alcoholic.
However, since the day my prescription arrived, I haven’t had a drop, and I haven’t wanted one, or even tempted even (like now) when thinking about it.

this is obviously great, but I was wondering if this is common in previously HEAVY drinkers, or if it’s just me? I don’t see it promoted for alcoholism it’s just made me wonder?
