What does “ground time” mean?
I'm trying to book a cost and time efficient flight on our visit to Japan in May, and since we're coming from Phoenix, I saw on this itinerary there are 2 stops, one in San Francisco, and another in Vancouver.
Usually, 1 hour and 12 minutes is not nearly enough time to change planes for international travel, but since there doesn't appear to be another "leg" in this itinerary for the San Francisco portion, does this mean that we just stay on the plane and continue to Vancouver?
UA2051 seems to have a history going between San Francisco and Vancouver so I'd think we just need to stay on the plane and then switch planes in Vancouver.
