Any other vegans getting annoyed by the price of eggs topic?

I mean I get that it’s used as an example of high food prices in general and was used as a talking point to blame Biden initially, but so many people seem specifically worked up about egg prices. I haven’t had eggs for 9 years, but even back then I could have easily gone without them if the price was higher than I wanted to pay. I can get a block of tofu for $1.69 across the street, add some seasonings and veggies, and have a zero-cholesterol breakfast scramble with no shell fragments or nasty blood spots.
