Food for Thought

So I'm a particular breed of nerd who spent a good few hours with Wargame Red Dragon, now about 100 hours on WARNO. Never really messed with online stuff, I either play SP or with my mates, so possibly a different style of play to all you 10v10 folks, but hey, this a place to say things, so here's my metaphorical ten cents.

The way I've started building some decks, starting with my native UK, is looking at the historical makeup of various divisions to brigade and battalion level, and build battlegroups/decks based on those. For example, for the 2nd Infantry Division, I created a battlegroup based on the 24th Airmobile Brigade. No tanks at all, instead using the Prince of Wales' own (Airmobile) 9th Army Air Corps and another motorised infantry company. Obviously While it scratches a particular tism, the counter to that is that it isn't necessarily meta (even if I have found myself oddly playing better lol) So... Thoughts?
