Indoor plant - need help reviving (UK)

I was given this plant by my friend when he moved house. I’ve kept it in the bathroom where it gets a decent amount of light, but no direct sunlight and watered twice a week roughly, however it appears to be struggling. Any advice on what plant it is/how to revive it? Thanks
