What banned card do you hate the most?
Pic related for me. Kelbek the Ancient Vanguard. This card specifically made me quit playing for a while.
I never liked Ishizu Tearlaments because everyone was basically forced to play it or just auto-lose every game. Even if my measly rogue deck could handle the hits from the first two mills from Merli and Kitkalos, somehow they always hit the stupid Kelbek or Agido to mill 5 more.
Most of the time, this screwed me because I want to play a high-ceiling deck with Garnets that need to stay in the deck. How else am I supposed to stand a chance going first? But if they go first and mill my bricks, I lose. Or maybe they Havnis on my turn, hit Kelbek, and now that mills my Garnet and I still lose. And if I try playing a GY deck that benefits from cards in the graveyard? Nah, they just shuffle them back.
The icing on the cake for why I hate Kelbek the most is when I try to bring out a boss monster which usually requires sending monsters from my hand or deck to the GY, they can just activate Kelbek’s hand trap effect. Now it’s a free body for them while I go -2 or -3 because I just wasted resources to bring something out.
I hate this bozo. My honorable mentions go to Smoke Grenade of the Thief and Block Dragon. What's your most hated Forbidden card?
