Issues with Decky Loader and NSL

New linux User -Sorry if this is a simple fix but I've been at it for two days straight trying to learn, and I've made lots of progress, but im at a road block. So im giving in and asking to see if anyone can help me.

EA And Epic games run fine from the app, but I was trying to learn how to fix the directory to add them into the steam library to run them from game mode without opening ea or epic. Then I saw something new... I was having issues getting epic and EA games to run after adding them to the steam library, it's like it wasn't running the "launcher" app associated with that game so it would bring up an error upon starting the game. After tinkering I saw that there was an option through Decky to "Auto Save" games into the steam library on certain launcher apps, this fixed my issue with the executables I saved into steam that were not running correctly, or actually they made separate ones and I deleted my attempts and kept the new ones decky added. Now they save into steam automatically and run as if they launch the app and then start the game, great they are working fine. yay

Although GOG is making me pull my hair out, the games fail to download every time, I deleted GOG and reinstalled it. Still no luck. It won't let me uninstall the game through GOG... I supposedly found the game under compatdata and nonsteamlaunchers, then I deleted the game file that was there, but it keeps auto adding the game from Decky into the steam library like its still installed even though on GOG it says its gone. what am I missing, and why is gog acting so funky?

Im using the latest version of proton GE, experimental wasn’t working for me.

How can I fix GOG to make downloads good?

How can I get rid of this "ghost" game that has lingering files somewhere that wouldn't install correctly?
