buying an AC!

hi everyone, i am planning to buy an AC and have shortlisted two brands - Samsung and Daikin. i am planning to get the AC installed in 160 sq feet room, which is on the 1st floor above which is the terrace and the room gets full afternoon sunlight. so i am planning to buy a 1.5 ton 5 star model but confused between the two brands. do i need the convertible modes of the Samsung whose cooling capacity is less than Daikin but the latter has no convertible options or modes which can be switched to meet varying requirements. any suggestions would be appreciated!
