Where can I rent a photo scanner?

I'm in town for a funeral next week, and for a short time I will have access to thousands of family photos going back a century that I would like to scan.

Is there a place where I can hire (or borrow) an automatic photo scanner (not a document scanner)? Or some place like a library that I can bring my photos to to do it there?

E.g. the Epson FastFoto, which scans 60 photos per minute.

Yes, I am aware of photo scanning services charging ~30c ea by the shoebox.
