This is NOT an irritation bump, it is definitely much worse. I had the same thing happen to me. Do not pop it. I absolutely regret doing that at first, it just left scar tissue while it’s healing. Please go to the doctor!!! mine got so bad it started to blowout; they put me on heavy-duty antibiotics and a topical and within a couple weeks it’s now just a little red bump of scar tissue. PLESSE GO TO THE DOCTOR!!

Thank you so much! Going to call gp tomorrow, I was on antibiotics for tonsillitis hoping it’d clear up but it’s not gotten any better. Was considering trying to drain it before reading this I’m so glad I didn’t.
