Are you pretty confident you can improve enough to have a shot at it next year? Otherwise you're making some major life changes and I assume taking on a lot of debt just to have a chance at something you were already rejected from.

Basically all other scores are good, I just have to work on my leadership skills, which I’ve already started making steps to improve by setting daily goals for my self as well as making plans to study other subjects because as a 500 I’m gonna be expected to know more and prove myself even more to show that giving me another chance was worth it

Had a meeting with cadre and was told I wasn’t going to be nominated and as a result dropped. They said that I currently don’t display the leadership skills that are needed to proceed as a 200 at this time, but said they wanted to meet with me because they wanted to see if it was something I was willing to fight for. I said I want to continue and asked if I could have another chance to prove myself because I still wanted to be an officer. I was a crosstown and can’t afford to travel to do the 1 hour class every week this semester so I’m going to take this time to work on these skills and other feedback I was given.
