The schooner "Josefa Formosa" ran aground on Tuesday, September 18, 1906, in San Feliú de Guixols, Catalonia, Spain with a cargo of coal when she was near the port, from Cardiff in Wales, where she came from whith the coal. She was built in Sunderland, England by G.&J. Miles in 1868.
