tbh why can’t you guys make that? lol you can ask for onions as the “bun” part which also isn’t on the menu and people call it the “flying dutchman” i believe. if you have the ingredients, what’s the problem? i get it may be annoying but…doesn’t fully make sense. i’m just genuinely curious if anyone would like to explain! also, never heard of the “Monkey Burger” till this post

onions as buns is actually on the “not so secret menu” that’s published by in n out, the flying dutchman is a REAL in n out burger that you can order and the “monkey burger” is not. workers can get fired for making unofficial ino items so yeah that’s why we can’t make it.

hm…my bf ordered a “flying dutchman” before at my in n out by my house and they had no idea what he was talking about so he asked for the onions as buns and they still didn’t understand. they literally just gave him patties with no buns or onions lmao cause he didn’t ask for onions thinking they knew what he was saying and explaining so it was literally just cheese on a patty. he was not a happy customer that day😂

One lady came in a while back and asked me for "chick fil a" sauce in the middle of a rush and I was unreasonably distraught by it 😭 I was like "do you mean spread??" and she said "no, chick fil a sauce" and kept INSISTING it was called that. Ma'am. Ma'am please you're at an in n out burger
