1987 Star Comics "Reach for a Star" Print Ad by Marvel Comics (with Lion-O from "ThunderCats," He-Man from "Masters of the Universe," Spider-Ham, R2-D2 from "Star Wars," the Care Bears, Top Dog, and Heathcliff)
Did everyone enjoy the Star Comics brand in the '80s that Marvel created? It somewhat consisted of licensed properties, but it doesn't deserve to be post to the passage of time. Two of those licensed properties, "ALF" and "Heathcliff," survived Star's demise in 1988 and lasted until the early 1990s.
