All I can say is, do not let that 42 year old man disrespect your boundaries. If he keeps breaking down your walls bit by bit, that’s not you agreeing to him and willingly letting him do whatever he wants, that’s him disrespecting your boundaries, and that’s awful/unethical because he should know better. Consent is not when he keeps pushing and pushing and finally you give in. I hope you can take care of yourself in this relationship you have.

Is he only allowed to push you to try new things? Are you allowed to or can you try to push him? If the relationship is truly mutual and there’s no imbalance, he should have little to no issue with wanting to try things that you want to try. If there is no imbalance, he shouldn’t have the power to be the final say in any decision made. Pls keep that in mind as you navigate, assuming, this new relationship.
